The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the basic issues and problems of public sector
 economics and public administration and to create a theoretical basis for the study of other related
 disciplines, especially public finance. The student will be able to identify differences between
 private and public sector, private and public goods and services, understand theories of public
 choice, decision-making in the public sector, identify the process, factors of Pareto efficiency and
 causes of inefficiency of public administration, and the like.
